TUSUR-Electronica Research Company was founded in 2010 as a spinoff from
TUSUR University by scientists and the university staff. TUSUR University owns 34% of the company's shares. The company itself focuses on research and development for designing and creating new generation integrated circuits. The main mission of the company is the commercialization of university developments for sales and profit. The company has been developing radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICS) for telecommunication systems for a long time. During the last few years the company has been actively working on the creation of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for optical communication systems, monitoring systems, etc.
